Tri Training Harder's Updated Training Protocol in Times of COVID-19

Given the ever-changing situation, Tri Training Harder Coaches have come together to decide on a collective direction with the company’s training protocol as of the 22nd May 2020. This protocol will be under review as the situation changes. However, this should help athletes and coaches with a direction on what is deemed safe practice by other peers.

At Tri Training Harder, our philosophy is, and always will be to ensure the safety of the athletes we are working with as a result of our coaching and training sessions.

At these times, this philosophy still holds. However, with the world opening up, social media influences and a new era of virtual racing, we believe it is important to outline how we can deliver our promise of safety to you in this new field of play.

As with all protocols, each athlete has to take responsibility for their actions. Tri Training Harder is making this public in order to help provide clarity for other coaches and self-coached athletes at a time when otherwise it can be somewhat confusing.

This is specifically a training protocol and all guidelines around social distancing, lockdowns and otherwise are to be considered before this document. Use your local medical and governmental guidelines over and above this document as this is to be used as advice.
